About the Author

Paul Mitchell was born in Hazleton Castle, Yorkshire, England. Paul, along with his parents and five siblings, immigrated to Canada to begin a new life. After attending public schools, Paul chose a career in the Navy. Using skills learned in the military, he started a company that has flourished for over 40 years. Paul’s wish is for you to enjoy his children’s stories of magic, mystery, and goodwill.

Author’s reasons for writing:

I enjoy writing stories for children to help them develop an appreciation for family, friends and our environment. Whether a child, a parent or a teacher reads the story, the message becomes clear. We all need to care and share with each other and our great outdoors.
